I have been called many names but these three are true.
Writer. I’m a daytime scriptwriter/ producer and nighttime crafter of stories, poems, novels. I write until I bleed.
Reader. Some days, I read so much I get bed sores. I consume most genres but if I had to narrow it down, young adults, speculative fiction, magical realism, fantasy and romances are my favourite. I read Jane Austen when I’m feeling consumptive. I read JK Rowling on the days when everything has gone wrong and I need to feel like the Chosen One.
Ideal Eater. Six to seven times a day. Breakfast, elevensies, lunch, foursies, dinner, supper, midnight snack. My husband who fancies himself a home chef claims I’m his ideal eater. There are high expectations associated with this role. I eat to cope.
